FAQ's
Taxi FAQ's:
- Our taxis accept MasterCard, VISA
and American Express.
- Passengers must provide their own
child safety seat for those under five feet tall and under
nine years old.
- For areas outside of Shelby County
and some extreme edges of Shelby County the driver may
charge a ten dollar minimum or a five dollar surcharge,
whichever is greater.
- For prompt service, please be
prepared with the address and the phone number of the place
from which we are picking you up.
- We provide service 24 hours a day, 7
days a week, 365 days a year.
- We service all parts of the
metro-Memphis area, but you may be asked to change your
pickup point and/or destination to a well lighted public place to insure the
safety of our drivers.
Passengers in a Yellow Cab or
Checker Cab should expect:
- The driver not to smoke
- The driver to speak and
understand English adequately
- A clean cab
- A visible taximeter and
driver permit
- Help with luggage
- A polite driver, informed
about activities in the Memphis area
- The driver to turn off the
radio when asked

Premier FAQ's:
- We accept MasterCard, VISA and
American Express, but corporate accounts are available.
- Cash deposits may be required for
some charters.
- All billings are from when our
vehicle leaves our lot, until it returns.
- All internet bookings are not
confirmed until the customer receives a specific
confirmation by fax or email.
- Office hours are M-F, 8am-6pm, but
we can often be reached to help you after hours or on the
weekends through our sister company, Yellow Cab.
- Please give us at least 24 hours
notice for all service requests.
